Esther's Food Search | Buffet at Contango, The Majestic Hotel

I'm always in love with the month of July. It has always been a special month for my family as we have two family members celebrating birthdays in the same month. Yes, both me and my mum are July babies~ Our birthdays are just 5 days apart from each other~ Every year, we will get to choose where we want to celebrate and this year is no exception. We decided to go for lunch buffet at Contango in The Majestic Hotel. Kuala Lumpur.



The Majestic Hotel is under YTL and was built in the year of 1932. It is documented as one of the national heritage sites in Malaysia and located facing the Kuala Lumpur railway station.

Contango practices open kitchen concept. It comprises Western, Malay, Chinese and Indian fine cuisines.

For the beverage section, there are fresh juices, Twinings tea and coffee available. You can glance through the coffee/tea menu and order your selection from any of their barista.

You can also top-up additional RM70 per person to enjoy free flow of wines and beers.


Contango also offers large variety of pastries and ice-creams in their dessert counter.





Remember to try their dark chocolate lollipops. Absolutely a smasher.



You can also DIY your own "ABC Ais Kacang". Take as many side toppings as you wish~

After our heavy meals, we took a tour around the luxury, colonial hotel.

Overall, our lunch buffet costs us RM420 for 4 persons including taxes. We went there on a Sunday so I guess each person is around RM105. With such vast selection of food choices and nice ambience, we'll definitely dine here again~

Taobao Hauls Review | Verse 1

Morning peeps~ I believe each and everyone of us are getting pretty obsessed with online shopping nowadays. Well, who doesn't right? Online shopping provides us the most convenient way to fulfill our shopping addiction, not to mention the crazily adjusted prices with vast selections. Regardless where you are and what you are doing, all you have to do is just click. Yes, just click and scroll along the webpages, make payments, log out and wait for your purchased items to be delivered to your doorsteps. As simple as that~

So today, I am going to share with you my recent Taobao shopping sprees together with my personal reviews on the items I have purchased. I will also share some of my recommended Taobao links here.

You can choose to pair it with jeans/hotpants/skirt. I prefer to tuck in my tee with my high waisted denim hotpants. Simple yet stylish~

But now, all are available here on Taobao~ How convenient is that? I really feel school kids nowadays are super blessed by having Taobao XD

4) Pink bunny water tumbler. I have put it in my DIY table storage. Quality is good, just that it is kind of heavy to be brought out.

6) Magnetic lucky tree photo frame. The colourful little beetles are the magnets to pin my Instax films.
