Breakfast is reckoned to be the most important meal of the day. As the saying goes, "Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dinner like a Pauper." As my office is stationed around the KLCC, Ampang area, finding a good breakfast spot is never a huge issue. Recently I am addicted to this coffee kiosk situated right at the entrance of the Ampang Park LRT station.

Brewing from 7am every weekday, I would say that The Optimist Coffee makes one of the finest coffee in town. Our favourite drinks are roasted hazelnut latte and Americano. Not only did their coffee is well-balanced and sapid, but their services are also admirable. You will always be greeted with cheerful smiles of the barista and staffs, turning your negative vibes into positive fuel upon seeing them.
Every cup of coffee will come with a thoughtful quote of the day which is meant to inspire your chaotic day ahead. They are also serving sandwiches for breakfast. With every coffee you have purchased, just add-on another 60 cents to choose between the tuna mayo or egg mayo to complete your breakfast set. I personally prefer the egg mayo sandwich. The combination of eggs, raw cucumber and mayonnaise are too perfect that I can cry wtf.

The Optimist Coffee is located at a strategic spot for commuters to grab their morning refuels before heading to work. For motorists however, it is a hassle for them to stop as there are no waiting stations or car parks nearby. Like what we usually did, we will stop our car under the GTower basement car park and walk towards the kiosk to get our breakfast. But somehow, with such a great, irresistible coffee, it is worth our effort and time.
